RoboMQ’s Hire2Retire employee lifecycle management solution automates data integration for international food supplier OSI

In 1955, Ray Kroc signed an agreement with Otto & Sons, a wholesale meat market in the Chicago suburbs to supply the patties for his new restaurant McDonald’s. Of course, McDonald’s would go on to become a globally recognized brand but Otto & Sons, now known as OSI, has seen a similar story.

Today, OSI is one of the largest meat processors in the world, operating more than 65 factories in 18 countries. It still supplies the patties for the iconic Big Mac along with other global brands such as Burger King, KFC, and Pizza Hut. With over 20,000 employees in multiple countries, OSI needs standardized business systems to efficiently manage a workforce of that size and global spread. However, as OSI began to roll out new systems, they realized the manual efforts required to manage their employees was bringing down efficiency, as system admins had to manually initiate onboarding, offboarding, and profile changes in their AD. For a solution to this problem, OSI turned to RoboMQ.

RoboMQ’s “Hire2Retire” employee lifecycle management system completely automated those processes for OSI, implementing onboarding events, eliminating security risks from terminations, and integrating data for thousands of employees from UKG to AD all in near-real time.
