Situation

In 1935, the Gainesville Florida Campus Federal Credit Union was founded to help students at the local university begin building a strong financial platform. Over time, the company became Campus USA Credit Union and has grown to serve over 140,000 people worldwide. As a non-profit, member-owned cooperative, Campus USA puts its profits back into its members through loans and deposits with friendly rates and various low or no-fee financial services. 

Struggles and Pains

With 20 locations spread across North and Central Florida, Campus USA struggled to effectively implement effective access control to its 480 employee profiles. A small team of Sysadmins was tasked with making sure that all of Campus USA’s employee profiles had the correct information and system access between Paycom, Active Directory (AD), and Entra ID (Azure AD). The large workload resulted in errors and delays that led to poor onboarding and offboarding experiences. Campus USA’s IT team also struggled to provision system access in several third-party applications effectively. It was clear Campus USA needed to find a solution that could automate Identity & Access Management (IAM).
