Situation

Dubai’s Burj Khalifa, the tallest building in the world, has over 161 floors for various purposes. Shuttling people between that many floors requires something more advanced than a standard elevator, and that’s where Vantage Elevator Solutions specializes. Through a strategic alliance, Vantage serves as a one-stop shop for elevator manufacturing, servicing, and support. In addition to the Burj Khalifa, Vantage has worked on elevators in the Empire State Building, One World Trade Center, and Chrysler Building among others, giving them a reputation as world-class elevator experts.

Struggles and Pains

With 650 employees to manage spread over 12 different locations from coast to coast, Vantage noticed that their existing employee lifecycle management process was anything but smooth. A fully manual process for handling onboarding, role changes, and terminations between Paycom and AD was placing too much of a burden on Vantage’s Sysadmins. Delays and errors led to situations where new hires were stuck without proper access for days and terminated employees retained access, posing security risks. Vantage decided to look at automating these processes, which led them to RoboMQ.

Resolution

RoboMQ implemented Hire2Retire as a fully automated employee lifecycle management and identity provisioning product for Vantage. Hire2Retire provided Vantage with automated, end-to-end, no-code data integration between Paycom and a Hybrid AD Setup, automatically syncing data between the two platforms upon an employee lifecycle event happening. Thanks to Hire2Retire, Vantage could:
