On October 1, 1928, a group of copper mining company employees west of Salt Lake City founded the first credit union in Utah to build savings funds together. Nearly 100 years later, Cyprus Credit Union is still an employee-owned non-profit. Struggles and Pains

With over 500 employees working in 21 different branches across the Salt Lake City metropolitan area, Cyprus began noticing problems with its HR and IT operations caused by a poor employee lifecycle management process. Cyprus’s Sysadmins were still creating and synchronizing employee profiles between ADP, Active Directory (AD), and Entra ID manually. The increased number of lifecycle events led to delays and errors that negatively affected onboarding, offboarding, and access provisioning.
