The Seneca Nation is an Indigenous American tribe in Western New York with over 8,500 enrolled members. One of the six tribes of the Haudenosaunee Confederacy, the Seneca Nation constantly seeks ways to create economic success. In 2009, Seneca Holdings was founded as the nation’s investment arm, compiling a portfolio of business investments to diversify revenue streams and accrue long-term wealth for future generations.
Seneca Holdings has steadily grown in the 15 years since its founding, recently hiring its 1,00th active employee. However, Seneca’s Sysadmins were struggling behind the scenes to effectively create and update all 1,000 employee profiles with the correct information and system access from ADP to Entra ID (Azure AD). Delays and errors by the overburdened Sysadmins led to improper access control and termination procedures that created security risks.
