Several years ago, seven religious families in an old bait house saw a dream of creating a space where individuals could know about God, get acquainted with the true meaning of freedom, discover their calling and transform their lives through faith. Making this dream a reality, in 1979, Lakepointe Church was founded. Helping individuals connect with spirituality and Christianism, Lakepointe Church is a space where individuals can grow closer with fellow worshippers as they explore God and grow deeper in their faith. With a vision of serving the community and spreading positivity in the heart of young families, it offers opportunities for believers of any age, no matter which stage of life they are dealing with.
Having multiple facilities within the DFW Metroplex and three campuses in Spain, Lakepointe Church does not let the barrier of language come between Christ’s learnings and their devotees’ faith by working bilingually. While this unique strategy definitely helped them grow its clientele and serve over 48,000 individuals each month, in the background, it created some challenges for its IT team. Spread across two continents with 10 physical facilities and an online platform, the IT team of Lakepointe Church was under the constant strain of managing its workforce of over 300 employees.
The method Church was using for employee lifecycle management and identity provisioning was not much efficient. Its IT team was manually creating and updating security groups, allocating software licenses, and updating the Active Directory (AD) in a time-consuming way.
As a non-profit denomination, Lakepointe could not afford to risk the costly work hours of their workforce on manual and time-consuming interventions that could be automated with the right product.
