But Haffner’s does more than just gas stations and car washes, offering oil, propane, and gasoline delivery services to nearly 50,000 residents in Massachusetts, New Hampshire, and Maine. In the 100 years since the first Haffner’s opened, the company has become a regional staple.

Struggles and Pains

Haffner’s struggled to effectively manage employee lifecycle events, as well as identity and access control. A small team of Sysadmins had to manually sync 1,200 employee profiles from Paylocity to Active Directory (AD) and Entra ID (Azure AD), which led to inefficiencies and errors in the access provisioning process. These delays and mistakes created potential security and compliance risks, as terminated employees retained access to critical systems, violating best practices in identity management.
