In 1935, the Gainesville Florida Campus Federal Credit Union was founded to help students at the local university begin building a strong financial platform. Over time, the company became Campus USA Credit Union and has grown to serve over 140,000 people worldwide. As a non-profit, member-owned cooperative, Campus USA puts its profits back into its members through loans and deposits with friendly rates and various low or no-fee financial services. 

Struggles and Pains

With 20 locations across North and Central Florida, Campus USA Credit Union faced challenges in implementing effective access control for its 480 employee profiles. A small team of Sysadmins struggled to ensure accurate employee data and system access across Paycom, Active Directory (AD), and Entra ID (Azure AD). The heavy workload led to errors and delays, resulting in poor onboarding and offboarding experiences. Additionally, Campus USA’s IT team struggled with provisioning access to third-party applications. Recognizing the need for automation, Campus USA sought a solution to streamline Identity & Access Management (IAM) and enhance operational efficiency.
