With Hire2Retire, it has not only overcome its HR-IT integration challenges by automating employee lifecycle management but also strengthened its commitment to sweeter future, both for its workforce and its community.
Have you ever wondered what goes behind the production of one of the world’s most beloved sweeteners, sugar? Its journey from seed to table sugar is not merely a process but a collective effort of farmers and enterprises committed to community and environmental responsibility. At the heart of this journey lies Sugar Cane Growers Cooperative of Florida (SCGC).
Founded in 1960, SCGC is a vertically integrated agricultural enterprise that brings together local farmers of Florida to ensure sustainable practices and to deal with market fluctuations together. This collaborative approach helps SCGC members gain greater negotiation power, access to shared resources, and collectively invest in research and development. The Cooperative produces more than 350,000 tons of raw sugar annually that once refined, is enough to serve the average annual demand of more than 9 million people. From harvesting to processing, it manages every step of production with utmost care to ensure that every product meets the highest standards of quality and sustainability.
While Cooperative’s commitment to excellence has positioned it at the forefront of the sugarcane industry, there was a time when its IT team was facing challenges in keeping the lifecycle updates of its diverse workforce updated across all the systems. Manually managing records for more than 200 employees was both a time-consuming and error-prone process, potentially exposing the Cooperative to data breaches and hindering employee productivity through delays in granting essential access and resources.
To address its concerns, SCGC started looking for a solution that could streamline its employee lifecycle management. SCGC’s search brought it to RoboMQ’s pre-packaged integration product, Hire2Retire. With Hire2Retire, it has not only overcome its HR-IT integration challenges by automating employee lifecycle management but also strengthened its commitment to sweeter future, both for its workforce and its community.
