As part of the Phase 7.1 release, Hire2Retire now supports the reassignment of a terminated user's OneDrive, granting access to the employee’s manager or a designated list of users.

The Phase 7.1 release introduces a significant enhancement: the ability to reassign a terminated employee’s OneDrive access to their manager or a designated list of users. This new feature is designed to maintain continuity and preserve valuable data, thereby enhancing the overall efficiency of your business operations.  

Setting up OneDrive reassignment in Hire2Retire is an easy process. Simply create a new Hire2Retire workflow, select “Entra ID(Azure AD)” or “Hybrid Active Directory” as your identity management type, and enable the “SharePoint Online features”. Then, navigate to the “Lifecycle Business Rules” step in your Hire2Retire workflow, select “Termination,” and enable the option “Grant another user access to OneDrive”. This setup ensures that data is transferred automatically and smoothly, protecting critical information from being lost during employee termination.
