As part of the Phase 8.3 release, Hire2Retire now uses webhooks to process employee data from Paylocity to IdP in real time.

How does Hire2Retire Enable Use of Webhooks on Paylocity?

To set up a Paylocity webhook, you need to navigate to the HR definition page of your workflow. In the section of choose your report type, you will now be shown 2 options, Webhook and Full Load.

Step 1 – Choose the webhook option and move to the next section
Step 2 – Copy the end point URL provided to your Paylocity settings
Step 3 – Instruct Paylocity to enter specific changes defined on the system and send it to this URL
Step 4 – Paste the custom headers mentioned below to your Paylocity so that Hire2Retire can validate the source of the data

You can further choose if you wish to sync your data everyday periodically or initial one-time full sync.
