With this vision in mind, the Lucile Packard Foundation for Children’s Health (LPFCH) was founded in 1997 as the sole fundraising entity for child and maternal health at Lucile Packard Children’s Hospital Stanford and the Stanford School of Medicine. The foundation has supported a wide array of initiatives, from pioneering research to community outreach through its advocacy, thought leadership, and grant-making programs. Over the years, with its dedication and unique approach to health equity, LPFCH has not only become a national leader in driving health care change but has also become a strong pillar for many families and children with complex medical needs.
To meet the evolving needs of the community while staying loyal to its cause of making the healthcare system efficient for children and youth with special healthcare needs, the foundation expanded its team to over 200 employees.
