Hire2Retire Automation Solves Employee Lifecycle Management for Kent Corporation

A tractor plows farmland with the sun rising in the background.
When Gage Allison Kent founded Kent Corporation in 1927 to sell animal feed the company represented one of many family businesses every community knows well. But unlike most local pizza parlors or mom and pop shops, what Gage started has remained in the Kent family’s control for nearly 100 years despite widespread success and expansion. Today Kent helps power America’s massive agriculture industry, still manufacturing high quality animal feeds as well as food, beverage, and pet products.
As the parent company of four other subsidiaries, managing a workforce of over 2,000 employees in 40 different locations became increasingly difficult for Kent and the lack of efficiency had ripple effects throughout the company. Sysadmins struggled to keep employee profiles updated between UltiPro and Active Directory (AD), new hires were not quickly onboarded on their first days of work, and terminated employees left with access to company systems. The cost of managing it all manually began to add up for Kent in the form of both money and time.
Kent found the answer to their problems when they contacted RoboMQ, who implemented Hire2Retire as a fully automated employee lifecycle management and identity provisioning product. Hire2Retire’s automation ensured that new hires were efficiently onboarded with the correct attributes, terminated employees saw their system access automatically revoked, and employee profiles were consistently accurate and updated. In the end, Kent was able to provide a superior “first day at work” experience, protect themselves from potential data breaches and security risks, and save both time and money.
