As part of the Phase 5.5 release, Hire2Retire has introduced a new HR file extract monitoring system, ensuring peace of mind for customers using the file extract process.
Many Hire2Retire customers use the file-based extract method to transfer employee data from HR systems to Active Directory (AD). However, if the HR system fails to transfer the data file, the Hire2Retire operation can be impacted. While Hire2Retire can’t prevent those errors in the HR system from happening, a new file extract monitoring system introduced in the Phase 5.5 Release ensures these errors are automatically reported in a timely fashion.
Setting up file extract monitoring in a Hire2Retire workflow takes just three easy steps. First, enable the file extract monitoring system by clicking the requisite checkbox. Then, tell Hire2Retire on what weekdays it can expect to receive a file extract. Finally, select the time Hire2Retire will expect to receive these extracts. If Hire2Retire does not receive a final extract within 30 minutes of the scheduled time, it will automatically generate and send an error notification.
